Gaza, November 4, 2025 – PalPlus News
Israeli occupation forces continue to breach the fragile ceasefire in Gaza, carrying out attacks, raids, and abductions while limiting humanitarian aid. Local sources report artillery shelling, drone activity, and fighter jet flyovers across the Palestinian enclave.
In the early hours, Israeli operations targeted eastern Khan Younis, with residents reporting intense attacks destroying farms and homes in both Gaza City and Khan Younis. Zakaria Bakr, coordinator of the Fishermen’s Committees Union, confirmed that five fishermen were abducted off Gaza City’s coast by Israeli naval forces.
One Palestinian was killed and another injured after an Israeli quadcopter opened fire in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The wounded person was taken to al-Ahli Hospital, while ongoing fire has prevented recovery of the deceased.
Ceasefire Violations Since October 10
Since the US-brokered ceasefire took effect on October 10, Israel has reportedly:
- Killed over 230 Palestinians, including 97 children, and injured 600 others.
- Conducted 52 shootings and 55 shellings, demolishing at least 11 civilian homes.
- Carried out multiple incursions beyond the “Yellow Line”, seizing control over nearly 50% of Gaza.
- Abducted 21 Palestinians, including fishermen and civilians near the Yellow Line.
Limited Humanitarian Aid
The ceasefire agreement stipulated the reopening of the Rafah crossing and daily entry of 600 aid trucks, including 50 carrying fuel. However, only 3,203 trucks entered Gaza between October 10 and 31—just 24% of the intended volume.
Israel continues to block heavy machinery, tents, and shelters, preventing the clearing of rubble, reopening roads, and recovery of bodies. Aid organizations warn that despite overwhelming need, only a small fraction of humanitarian assistance is reaching the population.
